Solar & Battery
Local design + in‑house install for Northern Beaches homes, strata & builders
Cut your bills, increase energy independence, and get a system that’s built to last. We design and install solar and battery systems end‑to‑end (no subcontractors), optimised for your roof, usage, and budget.
Led by licensed electrician Tim, we’re known for providing reliable, safe, and efficient services – without subcontractors, delays, or surprises. Whether you’re a homeowner looking for energy-efficient upgrades, a builder needing a trusted electrical partner, or a strata manager planning a large-scale solar install, we’re here to help.

Our Solar & Battery Services
With decades of experience working across the Northern Beaches and North Shore, we deliver high-quality workmanship, honest advice, and clean, professional service — all completed by our trusted in-house team.
Solar Panel Installation
We design clean, efficient systems that maximise generation across Sydney’s seasons and roof types. Our in‑house team handles everything: site assessment, shading analysis, array layout, inverter selection, and compliant wiring. You get neat cabling, tidy switchboard work, and a system set up for real‑world performance — not just brochure numbers.
What you can expect
- Custom design (orientation, tilt, stringing, monitoring)
- Quality hardware matched to your goals and budget
- Standards‑compliant install and documentation
- App monitoring and a handover you can understand
Battery Storage & Backup
Store daytime solar to use at night, dodge peak tariffs, and keep essentials running during outages. We size batteries to your load profile (typical evening and overnight use), then configure charge/discharge windows to suit your tariff and lifestyle.
Outcomes we target
- Bill reduction via self‑consumption and time‑of‑use shifting
- Backup for selected circuits (e.g., fridge, lighting, Wi‑Fi)
- Smart controls and usage visibility in one app
- Ready for future Virtual Power Plant (VPP) participation
Hybrid Systems (Solar + Battery + Grid)
Hybrid systems use a hybrid inverter (or AC‑coupled battery) to manage solar, battery and grid power seamlessly. They’re efficient, flexible, and easy to expand.
We design for:
- Future‑proofing: room to add panels or more storage later
- Smart control: tariff‑aware charging and export limits
- VPP readiness: optional participation for extra savings/incentives

WHY CHOOSE US
Why Choose All Phases Electrical & Solar?
Australia’s Cheaper Home Batteries Program provides around a 30% upfront discount on eligible home and small‑business batteries.
The discount is applied by accredited installers at the point of sale and is administered through the existing Small‑scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES). This sits alongside the long‑standing federal support for rooftop solar via STCs. (Energy.gov.au, Energy.gov.au, Clean Energy Regulator, Clean Energy Regulator)
NSW update:
The previous NSW battery installation rebate concluded on 30 June 2025. NSW now supports batteries primarily via the new federal discount and a state VPP incentive (up to ~$1,500) for eligible enrollments. We’ll advise what you qualify for and handle the paperwork. (Solar Choice, Amber Electric)

F.A.Q.
Solar & Battery
Frequent Questions
What incentives can I get right now?
Most homes can access STCs for rooftop solar, and from 1 July 2025 an upfront battery discount (~30%) through the federal program. NSW’s previous battery rebate ended 30 June 2025, but a NSW VPP incentive may also apply. We’ll confirm eligibility and apply discounts for you. (Energy.gov.au, Clean Energy Regulator, Solar Choice)
How big should my battery be?
We size to your evening/overnight use and tariff. Typical homes consider 10–17 kWh, but we’ll model your data and recommend the right capacity.
Is a battery worth it without blackout backup?
Yes — many households install for bill savings first (self‑consumption and time‑of‑use shifting). Backup is optional and can be added to critical circuits for resilience.
Can I add a battery to my existing solar?
Usually yes. We’ll check inverter compatibility and recommend AC‑ or DC‑coupled options, then integrate monitoring so everything works in one app.
